But, Lightroom 3.0 beta just came out and seems ---at least in my preliminary testing with some ISO 3200 images---have much better quality. The color noise reduction (which is the only aspect functioning in 3.0 beta) is quite good. I'll have to reprocess this image in 3.0 beta to see how it looks.
